Cast Member Contributions
The fee to participate in SAF is $575 ($525 for West Hartford residents).
Rehearsals will begin for the full company on Monday, June 21st. Certain cast members may be called for rehearsal the week before.
Rehearsals typically run from 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. Monday through Friday until we open. Not all performers are called on all nights, but we ask that you keep that time available. Some weekend rehearsals will also be required.
Who is eligible to audition?
All performers in the Greater Hartford area, entering grade 9 through age 25, are eligible to audition.

How much does it cost to audition?
There is no fee to audition, so go ahead and sign up!
I am going on vacation for a couple of days during the rehearsal schedule. Should I even bother to audition?
Yes. As part of the audition process you will be asked to fill out and submit a conflict calendar. The creative team will be able to make an informed decision on your casting based on your conflicts.
I'd like to be in the orchestra. How do I audition?
If you are interested in auditioning for our orchestra, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: There is no fee to participate in orchestra. Orchestra members can choose to purchase a show t-shirt, DVD, etc and can attend the cast party for additional fees.
I am more interested in the technical aspects of the show – building sets, painting, costumes, etc. Who should I contact?

Note: There is a $50 fee to participate in crew, which covers a show tshirt, cast party, and registration.
