Dr. John Feierabend
Dr. John Feierabend is considered one of the leading authorities on music and movement development in childhood. He is a Professor Emeritus and former Director of Music Education at the University of Hartford's The Hartt School and is a past President of the Organization of American Kodaly Educators.
Dr. Feierabend promotes his ideas on music education through frequent presentations in the United States and abroad. He is the author of more than 70 books, recordings and DVDs, many of which served as the inspiration for the award winning PBS children's television series Lomax: The Hound of Music.
Dr. Feirerabend has been honored as a Lowell Mason Fellow by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME); named University Educator of the Year by the Connecticut Music Educators Association; received the Outstanding Educator Award from the Organization of American Kodaly Educators, the James Bent Award for outstanding achievement in scholarship and creativity from the University of Hartford, and was the first U.S. recipient of the LEGO Prize, an international award given annually to "an individual who has made a distinctive contribution to the betterment of children."

Joseph Fierberg
Joseph Fierberg has worked as an actor and dancer since graduating from Syracuse University with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre in 2013. His numerous regional theatre credits include Mary Poppins(Maine State Music Theatre and Fulton Theatre), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ogunquit Playhouse), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Arizona Broadway Theatre), and Young Frankenstein (Fulton Theatre). Raised in West Hartford, Joseph graduated from Hall High School in 2009 and appeared in numerous productions with the West Hartford Summer Arts Festival, where he was last seen as Tulsa in the 2010 production of Gypsy. Joseph again took the stage in Mary Poppins (Theatre by the Sea) in August 2014 before joining the National Tour of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Ensemble and u/s Lumiere).
