SAF 2026: Guys and Dolls

Who Can Audition?
SAF is open for students from ANY TOWN.  Eligibility begins the summer before 9th grade and continues through college graduation.

April 24: Initial Video Audition Portal Opens (see below for Video Submission Details)
May 18: Callback List is Posted - Rolling Callbacks added up to callback date, and INITIAL VIDEOS ACCEPTED UNTIL MAY 30th. 
May 31: In-person Callbacks and Dance Auditions - including spots for first auditions that never sent videos!
June 1-June 15: Program Registration
June 15-July 22: Rehearsals (M-F evenings, plus some weekends)
July 18-19: Tech weekend
July 20-26: Production/Performance week
July 27-28: Hold for Strike

Costs
Participation Fees are as follows:
West Hartford Residents: $575
Non-West Hartford Residents: $625

What do I submit for my initial video audition?
1. Include a slate - name, school, grade in the fall, etc. 
2. A 60-second cut of a song that showcases your vocal talent.  This should have accompaniment, whether live or a karaoke track. 
3. A 30-45 second monologue that demonstrates strong physical and emotional choices.  
4. You can submit this as one video or two separate videos, but please put the song first.  

How will I be submitting my video?
You will be submitting a link within the audition form when the portal opens.  Please upload your video to Youtube (unlisted) or into a Google Drive, One Drive, or something similar.  PLEASE make sure the permissions are open to anyone with the link.
