Cast Member Contributions
The fee to participate in SAF is $625 ($575 for West Hartford residents).
This amount includes:
Payment Schedule & Deadlines
A registration fee of $200 is due at the first rehearsal.
A second payment of the balance is due on Monday, July 15th.
Cast members can fundraise by seeking program sponsorships to offset this second payment.
Students looking for a more in-depth educational experience can apply for internship positions on our team. Requirements are as follows:
Who is eligible to audition?
All performers in the Greater Hartford area, entering grade 9 through age 25, are eligible to audition.

How much does it cost to audition?
There is no fee to audition, so go ahead and sign up!
I am going on vacation for a couple of days during the rehearsal schedule. Should I even bother to audition?
Yes. As part of the audition process you will be asked to fill out and submit a conflict calendar. The creative team will be able to make an informed decision on your casting based on your conflicts.
I'd like to be in the orchestra. How do I audition?
If you are interested in auditioning for our orchestra, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Note: There is no fee to participate in orchestra.
I am more interested in the technical aspects of the show – building sets, painting, costumes, etc. Who should I contact?
